Chief Executive Officer

Steer PDB strategically and in daily operations by working closely with the management team and board of directors. Bear full responsibility for the profit and loss of the PDB group. Plan, develop, get buy-in at all levels, implement, track and adjust PDB’s business plans, functions and business performance to achieve targets agreed with PDB’s Executive Director. Communicate effectively with PDB’s board of directors and establish credibility of PDB’s management team before the board, as a cohesive, efficient and effective team. Provide timely and accurate reporting and advice to the board so that it always has a clear and current understanding of the market opportunities and challenges and PDB’s solutions. Provide thought leadership to PDB, partners, clients and the digital industry on govtech, fintech and digitalisation of public services. Provide strategic input on PDB’s corporate exercises and investments including fund-raising, mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. Cultivate and grow good working relationships with stakeholders: potential and existing investors/shareholders. government agencies and other clients; financiers; analysts; fund managers; regulators; mass media; auditors. external company secretaries; tax advisors and other consultants. Evaluate PDB’s corporate and operational structures/functions from time to time for continual improvements. Set up and lead the CEO’s Office (if any) to support supervision of all other functions within PDB group. Act as direct supervisor of any function with a vacancy in the head designation. Display exemplary behaviour at all times towards PDB group staff and mentor them at all levels to foster positive morale, growth mindset and self-driven personal and professional development. Nurture a culture of excellence, honesty, accountability, regulatory and ethical compliance and a positive and encouraging environment. Any other duties typical of the head of a group of companies in the digital business, as assigned from time to time.
