Corporate Action Asset Servicing Officer - (Contract)

Position: Corporate Action Asset Servicing Officer Industry: Banking Working Duration: Contract until 3rd October 2025 with PERSOLKELLY Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday; 9am – 6pm Working Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur Salary: Basic RM4,000 - RM6,700 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance JOB BACKGROUND: • Knowledge in Asset Servicing, Corporate Action Payment processing • Securities Services Operations is a fast-growing business with regards to services and products provided to clients. The contract staff while providing support on the daily operations will be able to understand the Business, Product and Operations. WHO CAN APPLY? • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience • 1-2 years relevant experience • Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired) • Proven success as a team player JOB SUMMARY: This Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution and delivery of the recruitment process within the lateral hires across assigned business areas. The overall objective of this role is to participate in various recruitment initiatives in support of the overall business strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reviews all Corporate Action/Proxy events received and ensures detailed understanding and processing requirements • Liaise with all units and departments relating and impacting clients on Corporate Action items • Researches and resolves all discrepancies within department standards • Data Entry / Payment processing / Instruction processing related to Global Custody operations. • Produce high quality and timely deliverables as stipulated in the Service Level Agreement on processing related functions (e.g. Asset Servicing Event Creation, Instruction, Payment, Funding etc.) • Reconciling and processing positions related to Asset Servicing events • Work proactively with the respective Operations team to investigate and resolve exceptions or clients’ queries • Perform routine checks to ensure strict adherence to procedures and controls established within the unit and department • Escalates issues to management, participates in cross-training activities and all other job duties as assigned • Able to work during Malaysia Public Holiday and overtime if required How To Apply?
