Senior Engineer, Civil & Structural (Contract)
Responsibilities:
Work closely with architects, consultants, and other disciplines to identify potential cost savings.
Conduct value engineering workshops during the design phase to explore alternatives.
Review and approve designs from consultants to ensure they meet safety and sustainability standards, and comply with local building regulations.
Perform site inspections and resolve on-site issues.
Check and review designs from consultants to ensure compliance with local codes of practice.
Implement value engineering practices.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
Preferably a Senior Engineer specializing in steel structures for processing plants, warehouses, and factories.
Familiar with AutoCAD, and capable of conducting structural analysis using ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Prokon, or other design software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel locally or overseas when required.
