About the role

JJ GOLDEN FISH FOOD SUPPLY SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented Food Technology professional to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Food Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and innovation of our snack-based food and beverages products. This is a full-time position that will allow you to leverage your expertise in the field of food technology and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and testing new snack-based food and beverage products to meet evolving market demands

  • Conducting research and analysis to optimise production processes and improve product quality

  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards throughout the production cycle

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and marketing, to drive product innovation

  • Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to identify and address any issues

  • Providing technical guidance and support to the production team to enhance efficiency and product consistency

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food technology

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar food technology or product development role

  • Proficient in the use of food analysis equipment and quality control techniques

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve production issues

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Creativity and an innovative mindset to develop new and improved snack-based food and beverage products

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems
