THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner, founded in 1991, is a specialized underwriting agency that distributes general insurance products. They offer a variety of coverage options for both full-time and short-term residential rentals, available directly and through partnerships with brokers and property managers.

As the company continues to grow, we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role will be crucial in enhancing, protecting, and expanding the brand presence across multiple platforms and audiences, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in coordinating key brand projects and strategic initiatives from a brand and digital perspective.
  • Collaborate with offshore graphic design and video teams for campaign and asset creation.
  • Work with designers or create assets in Canva for various marketing channels.
  • Manage social media channels and internal intranet, ensuring timely responses to reviews.
  • Write posts, manage approvals, and schedule social media content.
  • Create email mailers by gathering information from various business units, rewriting it in a customer-centric manner, and using Mailchimp for approval.
  • Write blog articles for the Resource Centres on our WordPress websites.
  • Provide occasional support in collating and formatting presentations for special events or quarterly strategy presentations.
  • Assist with ordering merchandise for the Business Development Teams and organize the printing of marketing collateral and company events such as the AGM.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Has more than 3 years of experience in brand, marketing or social media/digital marketing (agency or client-side).
  • Someone who loves copywriting, design and who loves organization
  • Background in insurance is preferred, but not essential.
  • Someone with a growth mindset who is curious about property insurance and loves adding value.
  • Excellent English communication skills—both spoken and written.
  • A warm, friendly personality with a natural ability to build rapport.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong initiative.
