Job Purpose: To ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, software, and hardware within the organisation. The IT Executive will be responsible for technical support, system maintenance, data security, and helping the centre adopt and manage digital tools to improve teaching, communication, and administration. Key Responsibilities: -Maintain and troubleshoot all IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi networks, projectors, and CCTV systems. -Provide first-level technical support to staff and teachers — hardware, software, and connectivity issues. -Install and configure new hardware, software, and user accounts as needed. -Maintain student and staff database systems, including backups and basic cybersecurity protocols. -Support digital tools/platforms used by the centre (e.g. Google Classroom, Zoom, online learning portals). -Monitor the IT inventory and plan procurement or upgrades when necessary. -Assist in maintaining the centre’s website and social media platforms (basic IT support level). -Liaise with vendors or service providers for IT-related support or repairs. -Ensure data protection policies are followed and assist in compliance matters. -Provide basic training to staff on IT tools and systems when required. Requirements: -Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. -At least 1–2 years of working experience in an IT support or executive role. -Knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and basic cybersecurity. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic system administration. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to issues. -Good communication skills, especially in supporting non-technical users. -Able to work independently and handle multiple support requests.
