JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's client base and market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and potential growth areas.

2. Client relationship management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored logistics solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Sales and revenue growth

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting the company's services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to secure long-term partnerships.

4. Collaboration and coordination

  • Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve service offerings and customer experience.

5. Reporting and analysis

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular reports for Management on business development activities and outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Academic: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing , Logistics or any related field.

2. Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales or a similar role in logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Knowledgeable in Malaysia's logistics market and regulatory environment.
  • Have existing network of contacts in logistics or related industries.

3. Skills:

  • Strong understanding of logistics, freight forwarding and supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationship.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Words, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

4. Language: Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. MANDARIN IS A PLUS.

WORKING DAYS/HOURS

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
  • Saturday, 8.30 am to 2.30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
