SEEKA Technologies (Not Seeka Limited) is a project under its parent organization called Fresh Futures Australia (FFA) which is an education consultant based in both Australia and Malaysia. We are developing and creating a platform that utilises A.I. to help match students and job seekers to the right opportunities relevant to them from Kindergarten up to the University along with vocational training centers and language schools and ofcourse to businesses and companies who need the right candidates. Our innovative platform bridges the gap between skills development and career growth in Australia. We’re seeking a Finance Intern to support key business decisions through data-driven financial analysis, partnership research, and strategic planning. This is a remote internship ideal for a student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics looking to gain hands-on experience in a real-world business environment. Job Description
- Identify and assess potential partners like Employment/Job Agencies, Government departments and workforce development programs, and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia
- Analyze their alignment with our goals and assess risks and benefits from a financial perspective
- Research and report on financial trends across the education, employment, and tech integration industries
- Use tools like financial ratios, margin analysis, and breakeven analysis to interpret profitability and risk
- Evaluate costs and benefits for marketing initiatives, API and technical integrations, and potential software solutions
- Conduct cost assessment studies for hiring additional staff—especially in nearby regions such as Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia—to support scaling efforts affordably while launching in Australia
- Translate complex data into easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and dashboards
- Assist in designing pitch decks and proposal documents for investors, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to business presentations with clear financial insights and visual storytelling
- Conduct financial risk assessments for potential partners and operational plans.
- Help identify financial red flags or indicators that might impact our partnerships, hiring, or expansion strategies
- Recommend ways to optimize our cost structure based on financial projections and available data
Qualifications
- A student from a Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business related major
- Strong understanding of financial principles, ratios, and analysis tools
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and communicate findings clearly
- Familiarity with business models in the tech, education, or recruitment space is a bonus
