Job Summary:

The Reward and Performance Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the full spectrum of sales incentive programs, trade promotions, and CBO recognition systems across all commercial channels. This role ensures that rewards are performance-aligned, data-driven, and automated to create a culture of accountability, motivation, and excellence. The role is also critical in driving analytics and governance for Head of Sales (HOS - WM & HOS - EM), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and field forces, ensuring ROI-based investment in commercial productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Reward & Incentive Management (35%)
Calculate, simulate, and verify monthly/quarterly incentive payouts for CBOs, RSMs, and HOSs. Route for management approval and coordinate execution with Finance, HR, and Sales Ops teams.

2*. Incentive Program Design & Strategy (20%)*
Develop, review, and refine performance-based reward structures tied to business KPIs and targets for all commercial roles and trade partners.

3. Promotion Planning & ROI Tracking (15%)
Align and calendar monthly promotions; monitor impact and conduct post-mortem analysis of uplift and cost-efficiency.

4. Automation & System-Driven Reporting (20%)
Maintain and improve dashboards, calculators, payout tracking, and submission logs using Power BI, Excel Power Query, and ERP/CRM tools.

5. Governance, SOP & Departmental Collaboration (10%)
Establish reward process SOPs and timelines, and ensure alignment with Finance (budget), HR (payroll), IT (automation), and Sales Ops (KPI data)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields
  • Minimum 5–7 years in incentives, performance management, trade marketing, or commercial analytics.
  • Experience in FMCG, MLM, or retail is advantageous.
  • Incentive design and performance-based reward systems.
  • Advanced Excel (including Power Query) and Power BI dashboarding.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and sales tracking systems.
  • Deep understanding of ROI analytics and trade promotions.
  • Advanced analytical, numerical, and data modeling skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, calculation accuracy, and compliance rigor.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Structured project management and SOP documentation.
  • Tech-savvy: proficient user of Excel, Power BI, CRM, ERP tools.
