- Integrate innovative teaching techniques and resources—including technology—into lessons to enhance student engagement, deepen understanding, and inspire a love for mathematics.
- Plan, design, and deliver lessons and modules that prepare students for national examinations and post-secondary pathways (e.g., college, university, vocational training).
- Supervise and support student academic work including coursework, extended projects, fieldwork (if relevant), and mathematics-related competitions. Offer guidance on effective study techniques and help students overcome learning challenges.
- Select and implement appropriate assessment tools, set examination papers, grade student work, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Serve as an internal examiner for upper secondary assessments and contribute to the moderation and quality assurance processes.
- Continuously reflect on and improve teaching effectiveness by analyzing student performance data, gathering feedback, and applying evidence-based strategies.
- Participate in curriculum review and development to ensure subject offerings remain current, challenging, and aligned with educational standards and student needs.
- Contribute actively to the planning and development of subject modules, learning objectives, and instructional resources within the department.
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school’s management team from time to time, including participation in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
