Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) - Penang

JOB DESCRIPTION Site Safety Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to the project management team, supervisors, foreman and workers. This position will provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirement of the assigned project. REQUIREMENTS Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety Health & Environment or equivalent. At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in construction industry. Possess a valid Yellow Book from DOSH and valid CIDB card. Experienced in the Construction industry preferably in data center Good written and verbal communication skill in English Excellent communication skills to liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams Prefer candidate who based and willing to work in Johor JOB RESPONSIBILITIES To plan, assign and supervise safety matters and requirement for all work sites To implement all policies, activities, procedure and instruction as relevant and requirement by the quality system To ensure all work sites and offices are safe and in compliance with the OSHA Act 1994, CIDB requirements and company safety policies Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the site Correcting any unsafe practices Checking of sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with. To handle and monitor general workers problems and report to HOD Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures Prepare monthly Safety Audit Report to the management on timely basis
