- To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase in term of quality, price, deliveries and services with supplier.
- To coordinate and execute purchasing activities and supplier deliveries to meet company requirement.
- To ensure consistency of supply, on time delivery and purchase price.
- Ensure that all the goods are purchased accordingly to required specification
- Ensure the availability of materials for the production department at all times
- To resolve situation such as shortage allocation, quality issue, late deliveries and other issues related to supplier.
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery.
- Prepare, generate, issue and update purchasing orders (PO).
- To maintain track orders, update records, conduct market research, evaluate offers.
- To monitor supplier's delivery performance and conduct audit to supplier when required.
- To work closely with other relevant departments and respond to enquiries/request efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS :
Candidate must possess at least SPM, STPM, Diploma or equivalent or related experiences.
Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English or Mandarin.
Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor.
At least 1 year or working experience in the related field and experience in manufacturing environment is required for this position.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Good communication and negotiation skills
Computer literate and knowledge of ERP System.
