JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to support the full spectrum of AR operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, managing invoicing and collection processes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a 1-year contract position based in Bukit Jalil, with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and business needs.
What You'll Do:
Finance & Accounting Operations
- Perform month-end AR closing activities, including preparation of PDD, accruals, unearned/earned revenue, posting and reclassification entries, and reconciliations.
- Handle quarterly and annual write-offs, reporting, and resolution of audit and accounting queries.
Operational Support & Collections
- Manage daily invoicing and customer billing processes.
- Execute collection efforts, including reminders, letters of demand (LOD), and dunning calls.
- Support customer account setup, campaign creation, and BOM (Bill of Materials) maintenance.
- Conduct credit evaluations and support policy and process reviews.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all working papers, journal entries, and accounting processes to support business continuity planning (BCP) and audit readiness.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams across Business, Sales, Tax, legal, Regulatory, and Finance to resolve issues and support cross-functional projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Who You Are:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
- Possess at least LCCI Bookkeeping, Professional Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accountancy.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality financial results and insights.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel are highly desirable.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Bukit Jalil.
