Lorry Driver cum Store Assistant

This position requires a candidate with a valid E-Full License & GDL for driving heavy vehicles and forklift certification for warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties

• Transportation of Goods:
• Safely transport goods using company vehicles, including heavy vehicles, to and from designated locations.
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the condition of goods during transit.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, tires) and ensure roadworthiness.
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices, delivery notes, and receipts.
• Obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.

Forklift Operations

• Loading and Unloading:
• Operate a forklift to load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Warehouse Organization:
• Move and arrange goods within the warehouse using a forklift.
• Stack and store items safely in designated areas.

Store Assistant Duties

• Inventory Management:
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
• Conduct regular stock counts and update inventory records.
• Report low stock levels or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Order Preparation:
• Pick, pack, and label goods for delivery or customer collection.
• Ensure items are prepared accurately and securely.
• Store Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization.

Requirements

• Must possess valid GDL & E license.
• Must possess valid Forklift license.
• Familiar with Selangor and Singapore routes.
• Can drive 10 ton lorry.
• Able to do cross-border (Johore – Singapore) and local deliveries.
• Proven experience as a lorry driver, preferably in a similar role.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to load and unload goods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Minimum qualification PMR and can read and write.
• Able to start work immediately or on short notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
