- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce company and legal safety procedures, conduct site safety briefings, and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Progress Monitoring: Track site progress against the project schedule and prepare regular updates and reports for senior management.
- Resource Management: Plan and manage the use of manpower, machinery, tools, and materials effectively to minimize downtime and wastage.
- Problem Solving: Address technical issues or delays on-site promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Client Communication: Act as a site-level liaison with clients or consultants during site visits or progress discussions.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping related to site activities, including inspections, handovers, and incident reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of site operation or project management experience in the engineering industry.
- Previous experience in the marine engineering industry are bonus.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Solid knowledge of marine engineering practices, task and site safety.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to site challenges.
