Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for the pastry shop. Identify new business opportunities, create targeted campaigns, and drive product awareness and customer engagement. Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Plan, develop, and implement marketing campaigns (digital, traditional, and experiential) to promote the pastry shop’s products. Manage the creation of promotional materials, including advertisements, posters, and social media content. Organize events, product launches, and collaborations to create buzz and attract new customers.

Brand Development & Positioning:

  • Strengthen and build the brand’s identity and reputation in the market. Develop brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers. Ensure consistency in branding across all platforms and marketing materials.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, both new and returning, to improve customer retention and loyalty. Implement loyalty programs and strategies to increase repeat business. Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve the customer experience.

Digital Marketing and Social Media Management:

  • Oversee the shop’s social media presence, including Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms, to increase engagement and visibility. Create engaging content, manage posts, and monitor the effectiveness of social media marketing campaigns. Drive online sales through e-commerce and delivery platforms by promoting seasonal products, special offers, and promotions.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and consumer preferences. Analyze competitor activities and market demands to stay ahead of industry trends. Use insights to shape marketing strategies and adapt offerings accordingly.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the pastry chefs and product development teams to ensure the offerings are innovative, appealing, and in line with market trends. Work with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation of promotions and events. Train and motivate junior sales and marketing staff to achieve performance targets.

Reporting & Budget Management:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales, marketing campaigns, and performance metrics. Monitor the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Measure ROI on campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns, including social media and email marketing.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Canva, Hootsuite).
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and develop unique marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Passion for food, especially pastries, and a good understanding of culinary trends.
