We are seeking an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of traditional South Indian dishes, spices, and cooking techniques, with the ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties. Expertise in preparing authentic South Indian dishes. As a South Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring the highest quality. In-depth knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques and recipes. Ability to create, innovate, and develop new South Indian dishes. Strong understanding of flavor combinations, textures, and presentation in South Indian cuisine. The South Indian Chef will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting recipes and authentic South Indian cooking techniques. Key Responsibilities: 1. Research and develop creative recipes that adhere to the South Indian principle, focusing on healthy, flavourful, and sustainable ingredients. 2. Test and refine recipes to ensure they meet quality standards and are easy to follow for home cooks of all skill levels. 3. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, and video tutorials, to promote South Indian cooking methods. 4. Provide support and guidance to customers and colleagues who are interested in adopting healthier cooking habits. 5. Stay informed about current trends and developments in the health and wellness industry, particularly as they relate to cooking techniques and nutrition. 6. Assist with product development and testing as needed, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience developing and testing recipes, preferably with an emphasis on healthy cooking. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. 3. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ingredients and flavours. 4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. 5. Familiarity with kitchen standard operating procedures.
