Cloud Solution Architect

Job Description We are looking for an individual in a Cloud Solution Architect role with passion around Cloud Computing and I.T. Infrastructure. The position will play a fundamental role in our Cloud solutions and will be involved in the technical aspect of sales, channels, marketing and professional services activities related to those products. The individual will play an important part of architecting, solutioning and leading this important set of products and will be working with a team of technical consultants to provide assistant and support in any internal or external engagements. Responsibilities: 1. Operates as Cloud expert and solution architect in the areas of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS cloud Integration and cloud native technology. 2. Responsible for technical exchanges and key customer opportunity insights during the pre-sales phase of key customers. 3. Based on cloud products and solution capabilities, responsible for demand analysis, solution design, POC verification, and traditional IT cloud solution design for public cloud projects, 4. Responsible for the migration and online delivery of public cloud products and solutions; participate in and guarantee the delivery of major projects, 5. Keeping abreast and insight of competition, competitive issues and products. 6. Collaborate with Sales, Products and other teams to ensure the continuous operation of key customers. 7. Engage internal stakeholders such as products, engineering service delivery, assurance when and where required to ensure the proposed solution is supported through from order to delivery. 8. Engaging with Customers and/or Business Partners to architect and propose appropriate solutions within our hardware solutions portfolio and infrastructure services in Cloud. 9. Perform requirement studies, sizing and configurations, understanding all integration points and provide end-to-end solutions and services to match these requirements. 10. Conducting technical workshops, joint business discussions, presentations, demos, tender engagements and proof of concepts with partners and end-users. 11. Ensure development of technical skills is constantly maintained and attend to special skills certifications requirement for the set of products. You will have to learn the products in all its strengths and capabilities, and internalized them to the rest of the company. 12. You may be trained or engaged to perform some internal process enhancements and applications development work if you are equipped with the interest and knowledge. Requirements: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 2. Good communication skills with a great command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred. 3. Some experience in areas of Professional Services, Solutioning or Architecting, Technical Deployment or Presales activities in I.T. related industries. 4. A good knowledge in Deployments in Cloud Infrastructure, Applications Development or Hardware and Networking Deployments will be an added advantage. 5. Candidates with skills on AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or any private cloud services are encouraged to apply. 6. Candidates must be independent and matured with great interpersonal skills. 7. Knowledge and understanding of I.T. Hardware Configurations and Networking is preferred, although not necessary. 8. Knowledge in web or mobile applications coding, particularly in Python, JavaScript, Web Services, HTML or C-Sharp and any in native cloud environments will be an added advantage. 9.
