Job Description:

This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with a solid understanding of basic accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments and generate accurate financial reports.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on late payments to ensure timely collections.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments to support cash flow and maintain financial stability.
  • Proactively mitigate credit risk by assessing customer creditworthiness and monitoring account activity.
  • Notify customers of due bills and promptly resolve any billing disputes.
  • Accurately record and apply payments to customer accounts.
  • Review and approve sales orders and credit limits in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage supplier registration processes through customer portals or manual forms.
  • Prepare detailed commission reports for the sales team.
  • Generate and maintain regular sales reports for performance tracking.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Support monthly stock take activities to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Sales and Operations to resolve customer account issues.
  • Maintain and update customer master data in the system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes with relevant financial data.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, payment, and account status in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts receivable operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial transactions.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance or sales team as needed.
