In this position you will play a vital role to direct, organize, control and be accountable for all packing activities during the shift. To ensure maximum output at minimum cost without compromising quality. To assist supervisors in problem solving. Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing Ops, you will have the opportunity to: Monitor daily output and performance of subordinates Identify and ensure that all resources are adequate Establish and set goals. Develop good teamwork and discipline among subordinates. Keep abreast of changes and communicate timely of changes to subordinates. Have a in-depth knowledge of each processes and product requirements. To arrange and ascertain that orders are packed according to priorities. To ensure labour utilization with maximum efficiency. Train, educate, motivate and lead by example subordinates under your control. To ensure, aware and communicate the company’s Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy and Environmental Policy to the subordinates. To be aware, committed and responsible to understand the importance of protecting the environment by ensuring all activities and practices toward prevention of pollution and in compliance to legal requirements. Ensure you and your subordinates apply Safety & Risk Management techniques in your workplace. Ensure that your subordinates comply to SOPs and know where these SOPs are available. Ensure that you and your subordinates obey the company’s rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by the management from time to time. To satisfy your internal customer’s requirements. To assist superior in projects or assignment, and carry-out other duties as instructed by superior. To supervise shift fitters and help to minimize downtime. To perform any other job as assigned by your superior or management from time to time. What will you bring to Ansell? Degree / Diploma in any related disciplines. Candidate with SPM / SPMV qualification having related working experience will be considered. Computer literate with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with minimum supervision and willing to work long and irregular hours if needed to.
