- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and procurement plans for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to optimize project value.
- Manage contract administration, including tendering, negotiation, and claims.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tenders and monthly progress claims.
- Present project proposals and cost justifications to clients during tender interviews.
- Monitor construction project expenses and implement cost control measures.
- Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring high standards of work.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project goals.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks in construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with construction contracts, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Able to converse in English and Mandarin.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- High sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Office, and Quantity Surveying software
