Job description Leadership & Management: 1. Provide strategic direction for the school, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and vision. 2. Lead, motivate, and manage teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring high standards of professional development and performance. 3. Oversee the development and implementation of the school’s policies, academic programs, and operational plans. 4. Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports the well-being of students and staff. Academic Excellence: 1. Ensure the effective delivery of the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum, monitoring academic standards and student progress. 2. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the teaching faculty. 3. Analyze student performance data and ensure targeted interventions to maximize academic achievement. 4. Oversee the development of innovative teaching practices and integrate technology to enhance learning. Student Development & Well-being: 1. Ensure a balanced focus on both academic and co-curricular programs, promoting the holistic development of each student. 2. Foster strong relationships with students, ensuring their personal and academic growth. 3. Lead initiatives that promote a positive school climate, including student support services, pastoral care, and conflict resolution strategies. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: 1. Serve as the primary representative of the school to the broader community, including parents, external organizations, and local authorities. 2. Maintain regular communication with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and school events. 3. Work collaboratively with the Board of Director to shape school policies and strategic objectives. Operational Oversight: 1. Ensure that the school is compliant with all relevant regulations, including local educational laws and Cambridge/IGCSE standards. 2. Oversee budgeting for resource allocation, and training initiatives. 3. Ensure the school facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe and conducive learning environment. Qualifications - Proven experience of 5 or more years in Cambridge IGCSE & A' Levels with educational leadership and school management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to develop and implement educational policies and programs from Cambridge. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities/ Data driven - Knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices according to standards of Cambridge - Master's or Doctorate degree in Education or related field - Understanding of local and Cambridge educational regulations and compliance standards. - Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
