OB BRIEF Database Administrator will be part of the Technical team and participate in phases of the solution development project life cycle. Database Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting, administrating and maintaining of high-volume transactional systems. RESPONSIBILITIES · Install and maintain the performance of database servers. · Develop processes for optimizing database security. · Set and maintain database standards. · Manage database access. · Performance tuning of database systems. · Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. · Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. · Recommend and implement emerging database technologies. · Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. · Create automation for repeating database tasks. · Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users. · Work closely with Technical Team. REQUIREMENTS Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science. Relevant Experience · Minimum 3-5 years of experience in database administration and distributed systems. · Extensive experience with database technologies (MS SQL, NoSQL). · Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments. · Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus. · Experience in high volume transactional data is a strong plus. Skills and Knowledge · Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server tools. · Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards. · Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS and SSRS. · Good command of English, both verbal and written. · Willing to communicate and work constructively within a collaborative team in an international environment. · Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. · Highly organized and responsible. · Confidence working under pressure. · Maintaining an awareness of trends and developments in database administration.
