Role summary
Assume a pivotal position within the Digital Marketing team. The responsibilities will encompass formulating and executing SEO strategies and on-site content promotion tactics. Need to stay on top of the dynamic landscape of search engine trends, consistently fine-tune and adapt strategic keywords, and orchestrate methodologies across marketing and content stakeholders to enhance the visibility of content.
Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Conducting keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic search terms that users might use to find products, services, or information related to the website's content.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimizing individual web pages by adjusting meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking to align with targeted keywords and improve their relevancy to search engines.
- Technical SEO: Ensuring that the website is search engine-friendly by identifying and resolving technical issues that may affect its crawling and indexing. This includes aspects like site speed, mobile-friendliness, and XML sitemaps.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyzing competitor websites to understand their strengths and weaknesses, identify potential opportunities, and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Keeping Up with SEO Trends: Staying up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and best practices in SEO to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate directly with content owners, social teams and other writing resources to ensure SEO reviews and cross-site promotions are considered for strategic content before content creation and on-site
- Conduct selection and testing of intent as well as SEO keywords in line with business requirements and emerging trends.
- Organize website content into relevant categories to facilitate client journey mapping.
- Leveraging generative AI tools to automate and streamline lead-to-keyword selection for both SEO and intent keywords.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Using tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Search Console to track website performance, traffic, keyword rankings, and other key metrics. Generating regular reports to measure progress.
- Social Media Integration: Integrating SEO efforts with social media marketing to amplify content reach and engagement.
- Long-Tail Keywords: Target long-tail keywords that address specific client’s needs, challenges, or solutions. These keywords often have lower competition and higher conversion potential.
- Voice Search Optimization: As voice search usage grows, optimize content to answer common industry-related questions that users might ask via voice search. (not immediate requirement)
Requirements:
- Strong SEO and digital content marketing experience
- Intermediate knowledge of search engines, how they work, and the factors involved in rankings
- Familiarity with enterprise SEO and strategies to influence thousands of web pages in many languages
- Proficiency in on-site, off-site, and technical SEO strategies
- Proven track record utilizing SEO tools such as Semrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Adobe Analytics
- Exposure to global-scale web content management processes, plus basic web copywriting and editing skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for collaborating seamlessly across various time zones and engaging with senior management
- Capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on achieving results
