Our client is an established MNC that is a strong player service industry. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board an Company Secretary to support their team in Bangsar South.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute a comprehensive range of corporate secretarial services and tasks for international clients, including company incorporations across various jurisdictions using corporate secretarial systems.
  • Ensure statutory compliance by preparing and filing required returns and forms, and maintaining up-to-date corporate secretarial records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Unit (BU) team, including data entry, updates, storage, filing, and other related duties.
  • Maintain accurate and organized statutory records and client documentation, ensuring proper housekeeping in designated client folders and files.
  • Acknowledge client queries, requests, and correspondences within one (1) business day, and follow up for necessary information or source documents within two (2) business days.
  • Apply best practices in corporate governance and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Superiors and/or Management.
  • Adhere strictly to internal policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Requirements:

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the Companies Act and statutory filing procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Able to work well under pressure and consistently meet submission deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated understanding of both client and organizational requirements.
  • Confident in addressing and resolving challenges or issues that arise.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of listing rules, local governance, and corporate practices is an advantage.
  • Experience with ViewPoint 7.4 is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Corporate Administration, Corporate Governance, or Business Administration.
  • Part or full qualification with ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) is preferred.
