Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of our property/building. The ideal candidate will ensure the building is safe, functional, and well-maintained, while also delivering excellent service to tenants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of the building including security, maintenance, cleanliness, and tenant relations.
- Manage and supervise on-site staff including maintenance teams, security personnel, and cleaners.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations (e.g., BOMBA, DBKL, DOSH, JMB/MC regulations).
- Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and service charges.
- Conduct regular building inspections to identify issues and ensure proper maintenance standards.
- Handle tenant complaints, requests, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and present reports to the property owner, Joint Management Body (JMB), or Management Corporation (MC).
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and emergency response procedures.
- Manage renovation works and ensure minimal disruption to tenants.
- Ensure health, safety, and fire regulations are strictly followed.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Building Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in property/building management.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian building laws, fire safety, and statutory requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and building management systems (BMS).
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia .
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Strata Management Act (SMA 2013).
- Experience handling residential high-rise buildings or commercial properties.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with residents, owners, vendors, and authorities.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
