Job Title: Production Coordinator (Civil/Architectural Background) Location: Ipoh Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Production Manager ________________________________________ Job Summary SEAD Industries is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Coordinator with a background in Civil Engineering or Architecture to support our workshop production operations in Ipoh. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing skills, hands-on experience in workshop or fabrication settings, and the ability to coordinate effectively between design and production teams. This full-time position is mainly based at the workshop for on the ground execution. Occasionally based at office for team planning and discussions with clients. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Coordinate daily production activities and ensure smooth workshop operations. • Interpret and produce technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software. • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to align production plans with project requirements. • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff. • Monitor quality control to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. • Identify and resolve technical and operational issues in the workshop. • Maintain accurate production reports, documentation, and records. • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and workplace best practices. • Assist in production scheduling, workflow planning, and material allocation. • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely material supply. ________________________________________ Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • Experience in a workshop, fabrication, or construction environment is an advantage. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to prepare and interpret technical/shop drawings is a must. • Strong knowledge of construction and production techniques, materials, and safety standards. • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and team coordination abilities. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on. • Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience in producing shop drawings tailored to client specifications. • Familiarity with fabrication, carpentry, or construction materials. • Knowledge of project management tools or software. • Understanding of quality assurance procedures and workshop safety practices. ________________________________________ Application Details Application Closing Date: 23 April 2025 How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and portfolio (if applicable) via email to: [email protected] Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
