Florist

The Florist is responsible for designing, creating, and arranging floral displays according to customer preferences, seasonal availability, and special occasions. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The Florist will also handle inventory management, flower care, and overall shop maintenance.

• Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, birthdays, and corporate events.
• Customize floral designs based on customer requests and preferences.
• Stay updated with the latest floral design trends and techniques.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and floral arrangements based on their needs and budget.
• Provide recommendations on flower types, colors, and arrangements.
• Take orders in-person, over the phone, and online while ensuring accuracy.
• Process payments and manage customer transactions.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of fresh flowers and plants.
• Trim stems, change water, and remove wilted flowers regularly.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of flowers, foliage, and supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to order fresh flowers and materials.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of flowers to maintain freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the workspace and display areas.
• Create attractive in-store and window displays to attract customers.
• Monitor and maintain floral arrangement tools and equipment.
• Coordinate and fulfill large-scale floral orders for events, weddings, and corporate functions.
• Ensure timely delivery and setup of floral arrangements at event locations.
• Liaise with clients and event planners to understand their floral requirements.Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

• Language Required: Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Candidates must possess at least SPM.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Proven experience as a Florist or Floral Designer.
• Strong Knowledge of different Flower Types, their Care, and Floral Arrangement Techniques.
• Creativity and Artistic Flair in Floral Design.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills.
• Ability to work in a Fast-Paced Environment and meet Deadlines.
• Basic Knowledge of Inventory Management and Retail Operations.
• Physical Stamina to handle Flowers, stand for long periods, and lift Heavy Items.
• May Require early mornings, weekends, and holiday shifts depending on Customer Demands.
• Working Location: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
