Job description Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare Monthly Financial Statements • Compile and prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement) for management review. • Analyze financial performance for each outlet and provide improvement recommendations. 2. Manage Daily Transactions & Accounting Records • Record and organize all daily transactions including raw material purchases, supplier payments, and daily sales. • Review and verify invoices and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal SOP. 3. Payroll & Staff Contributions Management • Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees. • Manage statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, and EIS and ensure timely payments. • Calculate and manage claims, allowances, and employee benefits. 4. Tax & Compliance Management • Prepare and file SST, corporate tax, and other relevant submissions to LHDN and SSM. • Ensure all transactions comply with Malaysian tax laws and financial regulations. 5. Audit Support & Financial Reporting • Prepare documents and financial reports required for internal and external audits. • Provide support and respond to auditor inquiries promptly and accurately. 6. Cash Flow & Budget Management • Prepare monthly/annual operating budgets and monitor actual vs. budget performance. • Oversee cash flow to ensure smooth daily operations. 7. Liaise with External Parties • Act as the point of contact between the company and external parties such as banks, auditors, suppliers, and government agencies. • Manage financial documentation for bank applications, supplier credit terms, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Academic Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field. • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) are an added advantage. Experience: • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in accounting or a related field. • Experience in using accounting software (e.g., SQL, MYOB, AutoCount) is preferred. Skills & Competencies: • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Language: • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage (especially for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients/suppliers). Others: • Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. • High level of integrity and professionalism. Job Type: Full-time Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
