Assistant Engineer

Job Title: Assistant Engineer Job Description: Manage, implement, review, monitor and evaluate infrastructure projects, upgrading projects and privatization projects to ensure projects can be completed according to the specified time, cost and quality. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of paperwork for the budget application for the upgrading project and the development project of RAC assets. • Collect information for planning upgrade projects and development projects of RAC assets. • Assist in the preparation of site inventory and site visits. • Assist in implementing projects at the design, construction and project completion stages. • Prepare a draft project scope at the pre-construction stage. • Collect information in the procurement process for the appointment of consultants or the appointment of contractors. • Assisting in project management including coordinating emerging issues, time extension applications, changes in scope of work and contract administration. • Assisting and recording in project monitoring involving updating project progress status, project progress meetings and regular site meetings. • Attend site visits to monitor project progress on a regular basis. • Assist in managing and documenting the agency's implementation and development projects on RAC lands. • Assist in coordinating the asset handover process for projects that have completed construction. • Collect and record documents for RAC Jawatankuasa Tindakan Pembangunan (JTP) and assist in preparing RAC Board of Directors meeting papers. • Record problems in project implementation. • Help update and improve project implementation. • Carry out related work from time to time as directed. • Manage infrastructure development projects, upgrading projects, and privatization projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specified standards. • Monitor progress and manage the development of projects related to elevators and escalators at train stations. • Provide technical reviews related to the field of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering. Qualification: • 3-5 years of experience in a related field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.). • Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Advance/Higher/graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. • Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word & MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Office. • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks). • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, and English. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
