MATERIAL CONTROL MANAGER

•Manage end-to-end import operations for bulk paper and packaging materials, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely clearance and compliance. •Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of raw material and packaging needs based on production schedules and sales projections, optimizing stock levels and avoiding shortages or overstocking. •Maintain real-time, accurate inventory records using ERP systems; conduct regular stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits to ensure physical and system alignment. •Supervise receipt, storage, and issue of imported and locally sourced materials, ensuring safe, space-efficient, and FIFO/FEFO-based warehousing practices. •Ensure timely and accurate supply of raw materials and packaging to production lines based on production plans, avoiding any delays or downtime. •Manage material availability for export orders, including packaging, labeling, and documentation, in collaboration with logistics and export departments. •Implement and improve material tracking systems, inventory control processes, and warehouse SOPs to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost control. •Coordinate with procurement, quality, production, and finance teams to align on materials specifications, delivery schedules, and inventory status. •Ensure all material handling, storage, and issuance procedures comply with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO, etc.) •Lead and develop the materials team including warehouse staff, providing training on best practices, ERP usage, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
