Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an eCommerce Executive at myFirst in Johore, Malaysia. myFirst is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented E-commerce Executive to drive the growth and success of our online sales channels. The E-commerce Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of our online store(s), ensuring a seamless customer experience and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, data analysis, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about the evolving landscape of online retail.

Responsibilities:

1.E-commerce Platform Management:

• Manage and maintain the functionality, content, and overall user experience of our e-commerce platform(s) (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).

• Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing, including high-quality images, compelling descriptions, and accurate pricing.

• Oversee inventory management and ensure stock levels are optimized to meet demand.

• Implement and manage promotions, discounts, and special offers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the e-commerce platform.

2.Digital Marketing & Sales Optimization:

• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and sales, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising campaigns.

• Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all online channels.

3.Customer Experience & Support:

• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback through various online channels (e.g., email, chat).

• Ensure a smooth and efficient order fulfillment process.

• Work with the customer service team to resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the online customer journey.

4.Analytics & Reporting:

• Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.

• Analyze data to identify key insights and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing online sales and marketing efforts.

• Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

5.Market Research & Trend Analysis:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.

• Research and evaluate new e-commerce tools and platforms.

6.Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, operations, and product development, to ensure a cohesive online strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of proven experience in managing and growing e-commerce operations.

• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok) and their functionalities.

• Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

• Strong understanding of online customer behavior and user experience principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Shopify, Lazada, Shopee or TikTok platform.

• Experience with international e-commerce operations.
