Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

Ensure that parts manufactured by suppliers conform to customer specifications and requirements. Review Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article reports from suppliers before submitting them to customers for approval. Identify and evaluate part quality problems, collaborating with suppliers to develop corrective actions and process improvements. Conduct on-site supplier audits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions related to material quality issues. Verify incoming defects and manage sorting activities for supplier material quality issues. Perform yearly supplier audits and quality business reviews with suppliers. Prepare monthly lot incoming rate (LAR) reports for major suppliers and vendor performance reports semi-annually. Manage quality disposition for rejected incoming material and handle RMN disposition. Resolve part quality problems and address quality complaints. Handle Material (MYR) disposition for QA pending warehouse items over 50 days. Job Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Engineering Discipline with 2 years of experience in a similar environment. Experience in supplier quality or quality engineering roles, particularly in manufacturing and supplier management. Practical experience in the PCBA or EMS industry is highly preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards, such as ISO 9001. Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
