Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The Hotel introduces several unique dining outlets to the city, including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with sweeping views of the Petronas Twin Towers. Revenue Analyst (Cluster Role)
This position requires a flexible schedule. The Revenue Analyst (Cluster Role) supports the Director of Revenue Management in analyzing and reporting Revenue Management data in all revenue streams for the Malaysian properties to ensure that the properties achieve Budgeted goals through optimized application.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Cluster Director of Revenue Management in maintaining computer records of on-line inventories, recognizing, and analyzing business/market trends.
Monitors and ensures rate integrity between Fourseasons.com and other distribution channels. Controls and balances inventory in wholesale and on-line maintenance systems including online channels in a timely manner.
Maintains and monitors group inventory and activity. Control rooms and rate availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Coordinate group inventory and allocations with the Director of Sales and/or Director of Revenue Management; Implement policies and procedures pertaining to revenue management if required.
Review group cut-off dates to ensure group blocks are released and returned to inventory in a timely manner.
Coordinates the overall reservation processes between Front Office Managers, Reservation Team, and hotel/resort staff. Oversee third-party technical support and contract familiarity. Act as relationship manager and liaison to OTA Market Managers for optimized visibility and strategies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics relating to resort occupancy, rates, and forecasts.
Develop and support production reports for the Planning Committee and Director of Revenue Management as required and directed.
Conduct ad-hoc analytics as necessary including, but not exclusive to, business performance reviews, hotel pricing/yielding, mix optimization studies, marketing and customer behavior analysis, competitive intelligence, forecasting and statistical analysis, database development, budgeting support, etc.
Understand Web Analytics and manage metasearch with hotels and agency.
Understand PPC analytical reports and manage PPC marketing strategy and spend.
Monitor Upsell programs for Reservations, Spa, F&B and Front Desk for effectiveness and recommend course corrections as needed.
Review the daily operations of Reservations Team to ensure accurate recording of data and 100% compliance with Four Seasons standards.
Support the Director of Revenue Management and Regional Commercial Director in the annual budget and marketing plan.
Operate and manage IDEAS, Property Management System and monitor Golden S&C as required.
Produce/Analyze the following reports and recommend/implement appropriate action to maximize revenue: Daily/Weekly Occupancy and revenue Forecasts, Monthly Market Segment Forecast, Booking Pace by Segment, Red Date Analysis, Rooms Inventory Report with Group Displacement, Arrival/Departure Patterns, Travel Click Suite of reports, Rate Resistance/Turnaway Report, Suite Inventory Forecast, Month End Suite Analysis, Booking Source Analysis.
Work with the Reservations Manager to produce and publish a monthly analysis/report summarizing the month end reservations activity.
Be involved in the following: Published, Package and Negotiated Rate Strategy Tiers, Segment Ceilings based on historical and current demand, Rate/Yield Strategy Worksheet, Rate/Yield Strategy, Consult on Front Desk Upsell program, Front Desk Perfect Fill Program.
Display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in all dealing with guests and employees.
Participate/Conduct/Attend scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested, Corp Budget and Owners Budget presentations, Yield, Forecast, Department, Pre-Con’s, Board of Operations, Sales and Marketing and Annual Revenue Management Conferences.
Respond according to the crisis management plan to any resort emergency or safety situation.
Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and planning committee.
Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including assisting with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections as and when necessary.
Establish relationships with Revenue Directors in the city as well as in Four Seasons.
Perform added tasks or projects as assigned by the Cluster Director of Revenue Management.
Qualifications:
Has knowledge and/or experience of working with Opera PMS, IDeaS G3, Golden S&C and Demand360/Agency360 software.
Proficient in Microsoft office tools like PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with in-depth knowledge of excel tools (Pivots, VLOOKUP, Charts, Essbase and other).
Excellent command over communication in English (written and verbal).
Able to work flexible hours as per business demands and needs.
Minimum 1-year experience in hospitality sector with preferred departments like Sales & Marketing, Reservations or Finance. Revenue/Yield Management experience would be advantageous.
Degree in related discipline.
Candidates must speak read and write Bahasa Malaysia as well as being fluent in English.
Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
