Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
1. Improve manufacturing efficiency by optimization of workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
2. Ensure product quality and process consistency by process capability studies, establishing standards and confirming manufacturing processes.
3. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules and estimating future requirements.
4. Prepare product and process reports for manufacturing performance review.
5. Keep equipment in operational conditions by coordinating with Maintenance; follow equipment standards/procedures and ensure compliance to quality standards.
6. Coordinate with production planning and QC/QA to meet on time delivery, yield improvement, quality improvement, product verification and handling customer complaints.
7. Improve yield by determining the top defects, investigate root cause of production issues related to product defects, equipment malfunctions or process inefficiencies.
8. Conduct work-related training / certification to subordinates
9. Enforce work discipline and job compliance of subordinates
10. Handling documentation (FMEA, CP, WI, SOP, etc).
Requirement
1. Recognized degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 year experience in chemical etching or manufacturing related environment.
3. Familiarity with quality control system and analysis tool (ISO, SPC, why-why analysis, FMEA)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
