Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. MFM has grown to become the leading flour miller in Malaysia with regional presence in Vietnam and Indonesia. Over the years, we have expanded into poultry integration, aquaculture, and raw material trading. In FY23, the group revenue was RM2.15 billion.
MFM is one of the major poultry integrators in poultry feeds, breeding, farming with a state-of-the-art processing facility across the poultry value chain. Designed to meet the domestic and international markets, the advanced facility will process up to 300,000 birds per day.

Job Description
- Plan, install, monitor, and maintain the PLC system in the plant.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation equipment, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and grounding.
- Maintain and monitor the SCADA system in good condition.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation equipment, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and grounding.
- Monitor the performance of electronics and instrument system to identify and diagnose potential problems, breakdowns, repairs that are require. Proactively make plans to rectify and repair to avoid any unplanned downtime.
- Constantly keep abreast of the technological evolution, leading practices, industry standards to upkeep and implement feasible technological enhancements that are beneficial to improved performance and better efficiency.
- Research on new materials and propose solutions that can be utilized or implemented to improve the functionality of electronic and instrument equipment.
- Manage suppliers, contractors and vendors of the electronics and instrument system to ensure the maintenance repair or installation of equipment fulfils the requirement/ performance expected by the stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Develop and share the knowledge in the area of expertise with the team, to enhance the competency and upskill the skillset of the workforce in the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 3.2
- Proficient in computer software including PLC programming.
- Fresh graduate with similar internship experience encouraged to apply.
- This position is based at Sitiawan, Perak.
