  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Enviroterm Sdn. Bhd, being 28 years key player in high tech instrumentation market, is looking for a Software Engineer to further strengthen our support to our customers. The job function also includes developing the new in-house software as part of the long-term plan for seamless integration with cloud, as well as supporting the existing installed base.

Qualification

1. Bachelor's degree (BSc, BEng) in software Engineering, computer engineering, or electronic engineering is mandatory

2. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in software development for instrumentation, industrial automation, or embedded systems.

3. Proficiency with programming language for developing scripting for automation process and data management, familiar with Python, depending on application needs

4. Experience with embedded systems, real-time software, and industrial communication protocols (MODBUS, CAN, MQTT, OPC or similar).

5. Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, loT, or cloud-based industrial applications (preferred)

6. Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize software for real-time control applications.

7. Excellent documentation and communication skills for effective collaboration with Technical Support engineers and sales teams.

8. Possess a positive attitude and work well with others.

Job function

1. Design and improve instrumentation-related software for industrial/Building automation, monitoring, and control systems.

2. As part of in-house R&D projects. Develop and implement software solutions for Environmental monitoring, Process monitoring and control system, with industrial sensors and instrumentation

3. Create embedded software, middleware, PC-based applications, and cloud-integrated solutions f instrumentation products.

4. Conduct software testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure system reliability.

5. Collaborate with design section, factory hardware and firmware engineers to seamlessly integra software with existing systems.

6. Maintain technical documentation, including software architecture, specifications, and testing reports.

7. To executive Testing and Commissioning for field installation for Installation involved Monitoring and Control software, as well as providing support for all software-related matters.

8. To provide support for the internal department for matters related to technical support on software for the Laboratory Department and Technical Support Section

9. Communicate with the customer IT department to understand the necessary requirements in meeting these requirements

10. Stay updated with emerging technologies in industrial software development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
