Job Description:
1. Technical & Engineering Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents for mechanical, civil, and piping scopes.
- Provide engineering support in material selection, installation methods, and quality control.
- Review and verify construction progress and ensure alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with design teams and consultants for clarification and implementation of technical changes.
2. Site Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate site activities of subcontractors, technicians, and workers.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor daily work progress and maintain detailed reports for project tracking.
- Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
3. Project Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and consultants to report progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare daily and weekly site reports, including work completed, resources used, and issues encountered.
- Assist in planning and scheduling work to meet milestones.
4. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for the team.
- Identify and report hazards, implementing corrective actions promptly.
5. Ad-hoc & Support Duties
- Provide technical input during procurement, vendor meetings, or site audits.
- Assist in resolving any technical or supervisory issues as assigned by the Project Manager or HOD.
- Perform any other related duties as required to support project delivery.
Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, civil structures, and mechanical installations.
- Familiar with construction standards, drawings, and site practices.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety and quality management standards.
- Able to work independently and manage a team on-site.
- Willing to travel and relocate as required by project assignment or site location.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced or high-pressure work environment.
- Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or public holidays as required by project schedule (subject to applicable employment laws and company policy).
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction/project execution with supervisory responsibilities.
