
Sales Engineer
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Client Support
1) Promote and sell service-related offerings including maintenance contracts, troubleshooting services, membrane replacement, and system upgrades.
2) Attend to service inquiries and provide timely quotations and proposals.
3) Follow up on leads generated from the service/project department.
Technical & Commercial Proposals
1) Work with internal engineering teams to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
2) Identify suitable membrane and equipment replacements based on site conditions and system design.
3) Ensure proposals are aligned with client expectations and project feasibility.
Customer Engagement
1) Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
2) Conduct site assessments and technical discussions to identify service opportunities.
3) Provide basic troubleshooting support and escalate complex issues to the service team.
Project Coordination
1) Coordinate small-scale projects or retrofit works from proposal stage to execution.
2) Liaise with procurement, engineering, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Documentation & Reporting
1) Maintain accurate records of proposals, project progress, and customer interactions.
2) Provide regular updates and reports to the department manager.
REQUIREMENT
1) Candidate must possess at least Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
2) At least 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the water/wastewater treatment industry.
3) MUST familiar with membrane systems (RO, UF), water treatment processes, and related equipment.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
