JD:
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including group reporting and inter-company reconciliation.
- Ensure all consolidation activities are in line with accounting standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with different departments and subsidiaries for accurate and timely financial data submission.
- Maintain and prepare full sets of accounts, including journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Review and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and reports.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee and manage project-related cost tracking, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting.
- Work closely with project managers to monitor budgets, expenditures, and project profitability.
- Prepare cost reports and analysis for ongoing projects, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for project-related costs.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, audits, and other regulatory reports.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.
- Performs any ad hoc and other duties relating to the above as may be assigned by management from time to time
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of ERP (Epicor System) is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and project costing.
- Meticulous and strong analytical skills.
