
MANAGER/ASST. MANAGER/Senior Executive (SDA Electrical)
This position is to oversee the development, management, and growth of brands and product within the portfolio. This position involves close collaboration with purchasing & development team, internal teams, and external partners to drive brand strategies, product selection, marketing campaigns, and overall sales performance. You will be responsible for ensuring that the brand's vision, product offerings, and marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals and effectively executed across multiple sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Selection and Collaboration with Purchase Team:
o Responsible for selecting products that align with brand strategy and market demand.
o Collaborate with the Purchasing Team to ensure timely procurement of products and smooth inventory flow.
o Manage the product lifecycle from selection to distribution, keeping a focus on maximizing profitability.
2. Marketing Campaign Implementation:
o Plan and execute marketing campaigns for brands across all points of sale (POS), both online and offline.
o Work closely with the Marketing Team (Digital Team & Designers), to ensure all promotional activities are aligned with the overall business strategy.
3. Advertising and Promotion:
o Develop and execute advertising campaigns (both online and offline) to increase visibility and drive sales for brands under your portfolio.
o Manage budget allocation for promotions, ensuring that brand strategies are executed effectively and converting accordingly to target.
4. Product & Brand Training:
o Conduct comprehensive product and brand training for the Sales Team and Customer Service Team to ensure they are well-equipped to represent the brand and answer customer inquiries.
o Train teams on product knowledge, selling points, and brand positioning.
5. Brand Budget, Costing, and P&L Management:
o Take responsibility for the brand’s budget, ensuring that marketing, promotions, and sales activities are executed within the set budget.
o Oversee brand costing and P&L, ensuring profitability while maintaining brand integrity and customer satisfaction.
6. Inventory Management:
o Manage inventory levels for each brand to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing overstock or stockouts.
o Collaborate with the Purchasing & Sales Team to ensure timely replenishment and stock management.
7. Brand Awareness and Online Engagement:
o Drive brand awareness through online platforms and social media channels.
o Collaborate with the E-commerce Team to implement online campaigns, post social media content, and engage with influencers to boost brand visibility.
o Increase brand value through effective online marketing and strategic partnerships.
8. Sales and Performance Analysis:
o Prepare and present Brand Sales and Performance Analysis Reports to management on a monthly basis, highlighting key insights, opportunities, and action plans.
o Identify and present opportunities to optimize brand performance.
9. Market & Competitor Analysis:
o Consistently walk the market and monitor competitors' strategies, product offerings, and performance.
o Provide detailed market and competitor analysis to Management, ensuring that the brand remains competitive and well-positioned.
11. Visual Merchandising Collaboration:
o Work closely with the Retail Visual Merchandising (VM) Team to ensure that the brand’s products and displays align with the brand’s image and marketing strategies.
o Oversee in-store and online product displays, ensuring they are attractive and effective in driving sales.
12. Customer Service Team Collaboration:
o Work with the Customer Service Team to address product-related inquiries, returns, and customer concerns for the brands in the portfolio.
13. Collaboration with Culinary Team (If applicable):
o For brands in the food, cookware, or culinary space, collaborate with the in-house culinary team on brand-related events and campaigns.
o Assist in organizing product demonstrations, tasting events, and culinary workshops to promote the brand.
14. Buyer & Major Promotion Campaigns:
o Meet with buyers for new product listings and major promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with the Key Account or Sales Team.
o Negotiate and plan large-scale promotions and product listings for the brands under your portfolio.
15. Recruitment of Brand Demonstrators (If applicable):
Work closely with the Retail Visual Merchandising (VM) Team to ensure that the brand’s products and displays align with the brand’s image and marketing strategies.
Recruit and manage product demonstrators for brands, particularly in the electrical and cookware categories, ensuring they represent the brand accurately and effectively.
16. Marketing Support:
Assist the General Manager - Marketing with any other marketing-related tasks, including special campaigns, cross-functional projects, and additional responsibilities as needed.
Key Requirements:
· Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical (SDA – Small Domestic Appliances) product and brand management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
o Proven experience managing brand portfolios, working with Brand Principals, and handling P&L responsibilities.
· Skills:
o Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies.
o Experience in inventory management and sales forecasting.
o Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
o Familiarity with online platforms, social media marketing, and working with influencers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
