Provide coordination to the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures in relation to: Bedroom service Bathroom service Valet service Cleaning service Linen maintenance To equip knowledge of all housekeeping systems Must be well versed on the hotel's products and services responds to guest requests, so can serve guests well Arrange and assist in daily housekeeping operations and requirements Secure maintenance of all room keys and auxiliary locks Prepares paperwork such as drafting budget reports, maintaining staff records, assigning cleaning tasks and taking inventories. Converses well with external and external guests. This position requires a high level of guest phone contact. Liaise with Front Office for guest and hotel requirements Ensure guest valet is processed and delivered in a timely manner Ensure consistency within the department Assist in management of lost property for the hotel Ensure you have complete knowledge of room types, layouts and facilities Assist to manage storage areas Maintain adequate department stationeries stock levels Assist in stock takes as required Works well with Superiors for the Housekeeping Department’s smooth operations Perform other duties as assigned
