  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar PV System Engineer to design, develop, and oversee the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, site assessment, and project management to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create efficient and effective solar PV layouts integrated with existing electrical systems.
  • Develop comprehensive electrical diagrams and single-line drawings to ensure system safety and optimal performance.
  • Perform system sizing, energy yield analysis, and shading studies using relevant software.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine project feasibility by analyzing location factors, environmental conditions, and structural considerations.
  • Evaluate and recommend system components and configurations based on project requirements.
  • Manage solar projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely execution and resource optimization.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Perform advanced calculations, simulations, and energy production forecasts to maximize system performance and return on investment (ROI).
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety standards and best practices in solar PV engineering.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation in solar energy solutions.
  • Oversee installation processes to maintain quality control and adherence to design specifications.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring post-installation.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Serve as a key technical contact, addressing client concerns and providing project updates.
  • Develop tailored solutions based on client requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in solar PV system design, installation, and project management.
  • Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Certification in solar PV design/installation (e.g., NABCEP, Grid-Connected PV Systems) is a plus.
  • Experience with energy storage solutions and hybrid solar systems is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with solar project execution and field inspections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
