JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising all production activities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, enforcing safety protocols, and maximizing production efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Team & Operational Management

  • Manage daily activities of Supervisors and Leaders to ensure efficient production operations.
  • Monitor operator working hours to minimize overtime and maintain cost control.
  • Train new operators on production fundamentals and cross-train existing staff across all production sections.
  • Analyze and resolve operational issues, providing support to operators in problem-solving.

Production Processes

  • Assign job orders and communicate product specifications based on established formulations.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
  • Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment usage, product quality, and overall performance.
  • Ensure the work environment complies with all safety, environmental, and health standards.
  • Compile, review, and verify production performance records and related data.
  • Create and manage production processes in alignment with production orders, ensuring timely completion.
  • Act as the key user for creating and managing production data in SAP.
  • Ensure safe usage of equipment and oversee regular maintenance.
  • Ensure ISO procedures are implemented and consistently followed.
  • Verify the availability of raw and general materials needed for uninterrupted production processes.

Production Planning

  • Participate in production schedule planning based on Delivery Instructions (DI).
  • Assign tasks in accordance with job orders to meet production timelines.
  • Set production targets and support the team in achieving them.
  • Liaise with the purchasing team to ensure paperboard arrives at least three days prior to the DI date.
  • Update available stock daily and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent delivery shortages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a production-related field or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a production and manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
