Job Summary:
The Group Head of Reward (GHOR) is responsible for defining and executing the Yinson rewards strategy to drive business success across Yinson. This role will oversee the design, governance, and execution of groupwide compensation and benefits policies and frameworks. The individual will collaborate with senior leaders, HR partners, and external advisors to ensure Yinson’s rewards programs attract, motivate, and retain top talent, aligning with the company’s business objectives and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Global Rewards Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Lead the execution of Yinson’s groupwide rewards strategy, aligning compensation and benefits with business objectives across all locations.
  • Continuously assess the global competitive landscape and ensure the company's compensation programs remain market-leading and aligned with corporate goals.
  • Drive the continuous evolution of compensation structures, Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIP), and bonus schemes to attract and retain top-tier talent.
Governance and Policy Oversight:
  • Own and oversee the implementation and governance of global reward policies, ensuring adherence to legal requirements, ethical standards, and company values.
  • Drive strategic decisions regarding executive remuneration and advise on complex compensation issues at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Manage relationships with external compensation & benefits advisors, leading negotiations and ensuring strategic alignment.
Global Compensation & Benefits Framework:
  • Lead the embedding of reward and grading framework across all Yinson’s locations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effectiveness in a multicultural and multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Partner with external provider to continuously refine and maintain the framework, leveraging advanced analytics and global best practices.
  • Oversee the execution of groupwide job evaluations and ensure alignment with the organization’s growth and operational objectives.
Strategic Leadership in HRIS Systems:
  • Partner with HRIS teams to ensure the reward processes are integrated into SuccessFactors, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure the scalability and adaptability of compensation modules, providing leadership in the system’s implementation and future upgrades.
Executive Compensation & Leadership Influence:
  • Provide strategic guidance on executive compensation, including LTIP, ensuring alignment with shareholder value and organizational performance.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior leaders to secure senior management buy- in for reward strategy changes.
  • Provide insights and guidance on emerging trends in executive compensation and reward trends to drive future-proof strategies.
Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead benchmarking activities to evaluate Yinson’s compensation strategy against industry standards, ensuring the company remains competitive and attractive in the global talent marketplace.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, monitoring reward program performance and implementing corrective actions where needed.
Global Stakeholder Management & Change Management:
  • Act as the principal advisor on all reward-related matters to senior leadership, HR, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead change management efforts across global teams, ensuring smooth transitions and high employee engagement during reward program rollouts and updates.
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in global compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and managing compensation frameworks in international, multi- jurisdictional environments.
  • Expertise in the use of advanced HRIS systems, particularly SuccessFactors, and associated compensation modules.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Certification in global compensation (e.g., WorldatWork CCP, GRP).
  • Experience with executive compensation and long-term incentive program design.
  • Deep knowledge of global compensation trends, including regulatory changes and competitive pay practices.
