Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud-based microservices for the BizFuse middleware and core card management systems
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, detailed architecture diagrams, and implementation guidelines for development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions for payment processing systems
- Evaluate and implement appropriate technologies, frameworks, and cloud services (AWS/Google Cloud) to optimize performance, security, and scalability
- Design and architect RESTful APIs and integration patterns between BizFuse and other financial services systems
- Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Design scalable data storage solutions and efficient data access patterns for payment transaction processing
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges related to system performance, security, and reliability
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the BizFuse architecture
What We Are Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in design, development, and implementation of Java applications, with 7+ years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure applications
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture principles, with experience in service decomposition techniques and domain-driven design (DDD)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform services, particularly those relevant to microservices deployment and management
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Strong expertise in API design (RESTful and GraphQL) and familiarity with API gateways and service mesh technologies
- Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployments
- Knowledge of security principles in cloud environments, including identity management, data encryption, and secure service communications
- Proven ability to design scalable systems using load balancing, caching, and other performance optimization techniques
- Experience with diverse data storage solutions and event-driven architectures using message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Understanding of networking concepts including service-to-service communication and cloud network configurations
- Experience in crafting effective prompts for AI applications, ensuring optimal output and performance will be a big plus point
- Experience in implementing monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing for microservices observability
- Strong knowledge of resilience patterns and fault tolerance strategies for distributed systems
- Professional cloud architect certification (AWS, Google Cloud, or equivalent) preferred
- Previous experience in the payment industry is highly advantageous
