Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the finance and accounting functions:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department independently.
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and yearly financial reporting.
- Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Monitor and manage financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including taxation (SST, corporate tax), audit, and regulatory filings.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, etc.).
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities as needed.
- Implement and improve internal control policies and financial procedures.
- Support senior management with financial analysis, reports, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MIA) are an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance.
- Prior experience in leading a small finance team or operating independently in a finance role is required.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
