Job Title: Control Software Engineer/ Senior Control Software Engineer

ABOUT our Client:

Our client is a reliable partner to automation/ semiconductor manufacturers and also medical lines.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide a high level of software design output through a thorough understanding of internal/ external customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of Full Lifecycle Projects for a range of process applications within Semiconductor and Automation fields.
  • Provision of the design & development of PLC Code from concept (Rockwell & Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley & Rockwell, Delta, Schneider, Panasonic).
  • Support sales department to prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for targeted customers.
  • Effectively communicate project status to the Director, customers and suppliers.
  • Provide technical input at internal and external design review meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • Past automation background for at least 4 years in handling complete system in the field either (1) Semiconductor, (2) Automation, and (3) Medical lines.
  • Experience in the software design of industrial automation.
  • Well versed in Codesys, electrical design, servo control, Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP, CANOpen. And preparation of IO list.
  • Integration of vision systems into industrial automation.
  • Integration of servo drives into industrial automation.
  • Willing to travel with own transport (with claims) and debugging/ commissioning and setup machines at customer site is a must.
  • Degree in engineering (Control, Electrical or Mechatronic).
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • 7 hours of working time (Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm).
  • 16 days gazette public holidays and annual leaves: -
  • Less than 2 years of services - 10 days
  • More than 2 years but less than 5 years of services – 12 days
  • More than 5 years - 14 days
  • Competitive salary including confirmed minimum 2 months bonus.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
