  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Bid/Proposal Manager is a key contributor to our organization’s success, collaborating closely with the Sales Director and the Malaysia sales team to oversee and govern the sales process, particularly during the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) stages. You may also lead and manage key pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support BDMs and BUSCs in client research to strengthen client relationships.
  • Assist in preparing materials for client meetings and presentations.
  • Lead or assist in the coordination of country events, including contributing to content, themes, and materials.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Development Lead to help BDMs and BUSCs expand into vertical markets.
  • Ensure RFI questionnaires are completed to a high standard.
  • Work with the sales team to manage proposals from initiation through submission.
  • Support BUSCs with coaching, proposal writing training, and personal development plans to build confidence.
  • Partner with the Sales Director and Strategic Development Lead to enhance and embed processes and knowledge across the organization.
  • Build a network within the Bid Manager community to improve knowledge-sharing, best practices, and insights.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential. Previous experience in bid writing and management within a sales environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, especially Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SharePoint, InDesign, SmartSheet, and Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Experience in bid management and/or a sales environment.
  • Experience in writing and managing proposals.
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular office hours when needed to meet tight customer deadlines. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, site visits, or to attend conferences and events.

  • Salary Range: Up to RM10,000.00
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya
