Junior Civil/Landscape Technician
General
- Execute works orders for Corrective and Programmed maintenance of Civil and Mechanical Services including: Architecture; Sanitary plumbing; Building fabric.
- Perform and check the repairs & maintenance of all civil works.
- Detect faults on the engineering equipment and to ensure all Corrective/Breakdown Maintenance are carried out. Technical personnel shall notify supervisor immediately any damages/defects observed during the routine inspection that requires immediate remedial if it would compromise the service level.
- Ensure safety and security of all mechanical and electrical rooms, including standby generator sets, LV switch rooms, Chiller plants, Water supply pump rooms, switch room.
- Take regular plant log readings such as water tanks parameter & condition of pumps.
- Conduct routine inspections and planned preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- All other duties assigned from time to time by the superior and/or company.
Legal and Compliance
- Assist the superior for the implementation and compliance to the approved quality, occupational safety, health and environment standards toward meeting customers’ expectations and fulfilling all regulatory requirements.
- Assist the superior in Maintaining an up to date register of all Plans, Drawings, Insurances, licenses, Compliance Certificates and other M & E regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that the operations activities are at all times compliant with the relevant acts and licenses issued from time to time.
Financial Administration
- Assist and monitor all civil works related operations expenses against budget.
- Review and suggest initiatives to support healthy income and introduce cost savings in relation to Mechanical equipment.
Procurement and Management of Vendors
- Assist in managing service providers and contractors on site to ensure quality service provided throughout the contract period.
- Assist the superior in reviewing work schedules, Mechanical service level agreements, reports and scope of works to ensure the highest of standards are maintained at all times.
Building/Site Management
- Provide 24 hours call attendance for emergency breakdown and to respond to the emergency breakdown.
- Assist the superior in ensuring comprehensive M & E records and systems are appropriately kept and filed
Customer Service and Communications
- Respond and resolve all customer communications in a timely manner, via established channels and recommend ways to enhance operations to avoid repetition.
- Resolve all customer complaints and issues.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Conduct regular walkabouts within the assigned project and identify areas of concern that affect the quality of living which includes ensuring prompt actions are taken where rectification works or follow ups are required subsequent to the walkabout/inspection process.
- Assist in continuously reviewing and resolve all site health and safety issues, ensuring all communities remain compliant with regulation, certification and UEM Edgenta company standards.
Management Reporting
- Ensure all reports or performance data including all supporting information and materials are prepared on a timely basis.
Team Management and Coordination
- Ensure high standards and performance of manpower resources and to ensure high levels of commitment and focus on delivering results.
- Ensure a cohesive working synergy between all team members and resolve quickly any inconsistencies and issues as they may arise.
- Provide frequent regular and accurate performance feedback to team members for continual improvement.
Technology and Systems Implementation
- To be a high level and proficient user of the Edgenta Smart Connect and ensure accurate data to reflect Portfolio operational outcomes.
- Apply and maintain technology use as initiated by the company in managing the site.
Able to be started on May 2025.
Qualifications:
1. Possess good knowledge in C & S that applicable to high rise residential, commercial and or mixed-development.
2. Possess good interpersonal skills and able to maintain effective working relationship.
3. Fair oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Computer literate.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
